Great game Pacific Hills. Our passing game has really come along, the boys passed between each other and scored some great goals. Sam & Josh were good in goals with a couple of saves each, which kept Thornleighs score down. Matthew scored a good goal from 20metres out. Ari was strong with his 4 goals. Corey was always chasing the ball as was Tom. Zachary and Ethan were great in the centres. Hugh, Will and Yannis were always chasing the opposition down. Good game all round boys.

Pacific Hills lost 4-3

Great game by our boys against a good side. Warm conditions had all the boys sweating, but they refused to give up. Tom was man of the match with 3 goals and was safe in the goals for the first half. Ari, Zach and Corey kept on the attack with good results. Matt, Sam, Hugh and William were backing up and making the other team work hard. Josh did some good hard kicks up the centre of field. Yannis chased down a certain goal and Ethan stopped a couple of good goal attempts whilst he was goaly. Great game today well done PHD.

The game kicked off with strong contention and competitiveness from both teams. Equally match dribbling and tactical skills were displayed despite the new environment. Both team players displayed individual skills well with strong challenges along the way. Some fine football scoring and shooting were noted resulting Orange A edging the 1st half with 3 goals. Match fitness were challenged in the 2nd half – from both teams having to extend their running capacity. Despite the major constraints and experiencing the first game for the season, the match ended Orange A team scoring 3 more goals to finish in the 2nd half.
