Great game today. The boys played well as a team with some great passing going on. There were some good set ups for goals and a number of close attempts. Bryson was on fire with his 4 goals, Zach scored an awesome goal from half way and Ben was persistent in getting his goal in.

Another fantastic game today. All the boys played well, both in defense and offense and there were numerous close goal attempts. Lots of running today and surprisingly, they all didn’t end up covered in mud considering all the rain last night!

Player of the match went to Jasper. He only had the trophy two weeks ago, but played such an awesome game today that he deserved it again. Well done.

What a fantastic game today. The long break between games must have agreed with the boys! Thomas was so close to scoring another goal on a number of occasions. Jasper was on fire today. I have never seen him play so well. Ethan and Jacob both got kicks in there and followed through. Ben and Zac both helped save a few goals and Zac did a great job kicking the ball.

Not much happened for the first half of the game today. We spent most of the game in defence mode, with not much attacking happening. All the boys got in there for a kick, but we didn’t manage to get the ball to the scoring end that often! Zac and Ben both put in a great effort and saved numerous goals.

Player of the match went to Jacob for showing a great improvement in his game. Well done.

Thought we would win this one at the beginning of the game, but Kenthurst proved to be too good for us! The boys played well again today, with all boys getting in for a kick and many goal attempts.

Another great game today, even though we lost. The boys played well today, with Jacob getting in there with his kicking, Ben with his good defense, Zac with his powerful kicks, close goal attempts from Ethan and Jasper and goals from Tim, Thomas (thanks to his parents bribe!) and Bryson. The boys could still benefit from learning to be less passive in defense, but that will come.

Woo hoo, we won our first game of the season! The boys played an excellent game today. Teamwork was fantastic, with the boys passing and defending really well.

It was an excellent game today, even though we didn’t win. The boys played really well together and are improving each week. Tim was on fire today, with his kicking and defending and it was fantastic to see Jasper score a goal.

The boys had a great first game of the season. They were all trying to get in there. Thomas did well at keeping the ball going, Zachary did some powerful kicking, Ben played well at defense with Jacob in the goal area, Tim had some good footwork happening and Bryson was so close in scoring a number of times.

Result: Loss 0:11 v Redfield

Despite losing, it was a great game. Having not all played a game together, the boys were getting in there and giving it a go. The game included a slide across the goal by Ben to save a goal and some great kicking by Zachary. Bryson did very well at trying to score. He was close so many times, but Redfield were just too good for us!
