The boys got off to a great start again today with Jesse scoring a goal in the few minutes of the game. Jesse was not well and only played for a few minutes before going home but we all appreciated the effort that he played with. The ball spent a lot of the first half near the Hawks goal and the boys had many near misses before Ryan was able to score 2 more goals to bring the score to 3 nil. Fletcher gave a long hard kick which just missed the goal. Caleb had a couple of attempts to find the back of the net with the ball just skimming the goal on the first attempt and then success. At half time the score was 4 nil. Coach Kim has been teaching the boys some moves that the boys have adopted with great results ! The second half saw Caleb have several more attempts to get the ball over the line. Ryan intercepted their goal line kick off and found the back of the net. Fletcher took a corner kick which he passed to Ryan and the score was now 6 nil. It was then the Hawks turn to get a goal . Jentezen kicked the ball in from the side line with perfect accuarcy and found the net but as it was not touched by any other players on the field it was not counted as a goal. Full time 6 -1. Matthew was the man of the match for some great tackling.
