Week 11 (July 4)
RESULT: Loss 4-3
SCORERS: Riley Bower (1), Daniel Guy (1) & Normanhurst A
What a game today….it was great, the under 6 green team have grown in leaps and bounds over the last few weeks, they’re showing great sportsmanship not only between themselves as a team, but with the opposition too. Both teams today were on an even playing field and played brilliantly. Jones and Daniel setup some great goal attempts, but Normanhurst A had great defense. Our youngest players, Harrison, Hayden, Toby and Ryan are improving and their self-confidence to get in and get the ball truly showed this week.
With player of the week going to Riley, has he continues to play hard each game, is great setting up and defending goals. We also have to make mention of our funniest comment today made by Hayden during half time when the team was discussing the game, Hayden says “when they get the ball don’t panic”!!
