Week 4 (16 May)
RESULT: Win 7-0
Scorers: Ryan 4, Caleb 1, Fletcher 1, Jentezen 1
What a windy day on a high unprotected ground but that didnt effect the boys game at all. The boys are getting stronger, more focused and more skilled each week. Ryan made many breaks with the ball this week, he showed great ball control and was rewarded with 4 goals and several near misses. Caleb unfortunately had the ball connect with his face in the early minutes of the game but he perserved and was rewarded early in the second half ( after intercepting the ball) with a goal. The boys had some strong kick- ins from the side line this week and it was from one of these that Jentezen went on to score his goal. Later in the game Jentezen was very quick taking a kick in, WPH was caught unaware, and Ryan went on to score his 2nd goal. Great play Jentezen. Matthew kicked a beautiful ball across the face of the goal but unfortunately this ball didnt find the net. Fletcher played a strong game ,attacking and also defending , and was able to find the back of the net. Man of the match this week – Ryan
