Week 3 (9 May)

The second game of the season and yet another entertaining game. Fletcher soon after the start of the game opened the scoring with a big kick that found the net. The boys took turns this week in playing different roles. Jentezen again protected the goals for some of the game but he was assisted by Caleb and Fletcher who both saved goals and Ryan who did a spectacular slide tackle centimetres from the goal line to save a certain goal. Fletcher scored our second goal with a kick from before the middle of the field. There were several near misses from a couple of the boys including Matthew where the goals were just not wide enough but Ryan was able to find the back of the net to give us a 3 – 2 win. We are missing Jesse who has not been able to play either game and we hope he is able to play next week. Fletcher was Man of the Match this week.
